I don't think I've seen the movie, but just having Matt and Jodie in it makes it amazing. Also, if you get a chance, check out The Tourist with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. It's not as scary, but is an amazing mystery.
This was one of those movies that I knew (pretty much) what was going to happen all the way through, and I felt that it was very allegorical, but that didn't matter because it was So. Well. Done. The tropes were still tropes, but they were so well rendered that they didn't feel like tropes, and they hit you as if they were new. It's a movie I'll buy to watch again.
I don't see too many movies, either. I prefer reading, or just seem to have other things to do. This is quite a recommendation though. I will have to check it out. Thanks!
I heard it is one that you need to pay attention to from start to finish. Guess I will have to check it out now. It was playing on one of the movie channels the other night, but I passed it up.
was my entertainment and boy, howdy, did it entertain me! I was appalled, shocked, impressed and riveted to the screen. I was scared, sad, and jubilant from scene to scene. It may not be every one's movie but I don't watch many. Even a year after it has been in theaters it was good enough to knock my sci-fi socks off.
I've been At The Farm far too long to be so easily entertained by one movie. Doesn't take much but I'm still reeling from Elysium. Matt Damon and Jody Foster were just two of the memorable cast.
"Never forget where you come from."
Elysium is a movie worth watching if you're a little different like me.

I don't watch many of the more recent movies, but your "boy, howdy!" really reminded me of Heath (Lee Majors) in Big Valley. :D

We saw it and enjoyed its future projection. Well done in many many ways. Matt Damon is such a versatile actor.
