I have never tried to outrun a bull and at my age I would not attempt it. I have only been close to steers (rings through their noses) and then there was a strong fence between us. I think those were rather safe encounters. xox
Oh my this brings back when I was little and thought I could go and pet one of my grandfather's bulls! I don't think he ever ran faster than that moment! Yikes!

Good idea to always accept a bull's invitation to leave ;)

we always used to cut through the pasture to go fishing - softly chanting, I hope the bull doesn't see us, I hope he doesn't see us - and as soon as we saw the gate laughing loudly and running as fast as we could

The trees, the bull, the man took a stand

All rooted 'til he stretched out his hand

The bull invited the man to leave
First he thought of climbing a tree
But smartly chosen the man ran.

Trees can be for Putty Tats
For climbing and shade
This and that
Trees can make a house
They feed us
And can hide a mouse
I love when they sing
On a windy day
Birds rest their wings
