A perfect life. I wish all children could have this kind of life. I think lots of the worlds ills could be cured by watching frogs and water and having the times to play like that. He is very blessed to have you for a grandparent. He will remember this time for the rest of his life. As you remember yours. Lovely photos.
This is the kind of life all children should have - watchin' frogs, drinkin' from the hose, playin' in the pond, having adventures on the farm, including pickin' up sticks, eh. Love these photos and love Z's poetry. Have a wonderful day. Hgz to M :)
What a precious young man! When I was a kid, we caught tadpoles and watched them s-l-o-w-l-y grow into frogs. Then we'd let them go. Such memories.
Sweet post!

I see frog eggs
Love frog eggs
Love frogs
Hear them sing
Let's catch them
[Image]
They need more water
I'll use the bucket
Where do frogs go at night?
Listen! I hear one
If we catch them
We eat the legs
But not the eggs
I want more frogs
Last day of school
Snacks were good
No school after tomorrow
I can play
[Image]
The water got me
It's cold
From the spring?
I can drink it
[Image]
It splashes
The water tickles
Did you eat the fish?
Gonna work here
You pick up sticks
Got to water the frogs
So they grow
I'm wet
I could eat supper now

You captured the adventures of a barefoot boy in both photos and words. So relaxing to read and dream about.

Looking at the photos and thinking, "Ah, to be a child again."
