Christmas Day we were welcomed with ice and snow. We also stayed inside. It's to cold out there to venture out. The winds picked up knocking trees and roofing shingles all over the place. This morning, I spent along time clearing windows off to get the truck out to get hubby to work.
I walked into the farm house to do laundry this morning wearing a long sleeved shirt. Before I was done, I was wearing an insulated long sleeved shirt over it, and a stocking hat. And I wasn't even out of the house!
(I suppose I should find a coat now that I, like you, don't like cold any more.)
I really thought that we'd be able to tough it out with a working kitchen and the fireplaces in the house, but I think hubby was right. We need some sort of heat.
I'm not sure I'd be a winter person where you are- too cold for my bones. I'm getting where it's almost too cold for me here. It's always been too hot here but I never thought the cold would get me.

The males have gone sledding. I chose to stay in. I'm not a winter person anymore. I shall miss many photo opportunities. I'll miss many crashes and tumbles but the fun will be in the telling later.
