That is hilarious!
Had you purchased a green hose, you would've seen a green snake though.

Hey. I know what you mean. We bought them because they are supposed to be so sturdy.

Well, they aren't; but they still look like snakes!

The dogs will tell you what is what. :-)

Have a great day!

That's hilarious. My sons left a deflated bicycle inner tube in my garage (purely an accident) and I jumped when I saw it.

Yes, I can see the similarity. Try a green one.

I'd be running for the hills if I saw either of those in the last photo!

Even the dogs thought it was a snake, I don't think I would buy one like that either. I would be jumping every time I saw it too.

Could you try curling the hose up and hanging it on a hook? Then banging it with a shovel, just in case?

We have one just like that but ours is a connecting hose from one spigot to another. To get water to the other side of the deck, we staked it around the deck ground wall. Every single time I see that hose (after the weeds have been trimmed) I think it is a snake stretched out along the deck & jump.

This made me chuckle and then I thought - do they make a bright red hose?
Just a thought ....

Ha-I'm not sure I would ever venture out if I had as many snakes around as you have. Good thing you have your guardian dogs with you!!

There can't be too much distance between me and a snake. What about those water hoses that contract and expand? Ugh.

I never would have thought about that, and we actually have a hose that looks just like that one! Good thinkin' (though now I'm probably going to be scared of our water hose ;o)

Can you believe someone would actually think of making a black hose with a yellow stripe? Mean. Just plain mean.
