The cyber green color is very soothing, great choice Gail. The color almost reminds me of the color of celery, the vegetable.

Making your own organizer (drawer) allows storage of supplies in a unique fashion and you don't have to have a drawer on your table. This in turn gives you more leg room when working on the computer. I really like working on my computer and not having my legs hit a drawer that gets in the way.

Being original, talented and not bored rates very high in my book.

You know when we have the most fun - when our mind is active and we invent stuff. We leave the "BOX" and struggle on our own and INVENT. We make use of most everything around us and our minds surge with NEW, ways to USE OLDE or SCRAPPED things. I call that "The Inventor". You do not waste much - most everything can be re-invented and re-invention works wonders. That is why I feel related to you - We are from that same dimension. I love it, did I already tell you that. You do not have a house - you have a house filled with love, inventions, colour and humour. Thanks a bunch for sharing, Eh. :)

come on down and see what you can do in my hubby's workshop in the garage.. lots of space to create things on the wall. and purple or any color would be better than the mess he has. if i look for something i can't find it but he can go directly to it and hand it to me.

Have I told you that your shades or purple and green are the same colors my DIL used for her wedding?

They looked great together!

Hmmm...now you have me thinking (and that can be a very dangerous thing, indeed!)
I have the wall going down into the basement - wouldn't it be fun to put all kinds of containers on the wall to hold and hang other bric-a-brac?!
Thanks for the inspiration!

I think you are just having fun. It looks like fun to me. I love re-purposing using what I have. I think that is fun and I love when I shop my house.
Just keep having fun. I enjoy your creations.

I love the playfulness of all your artistic creations, Gail! This is not only utilitarian, but so much fun to look at. What really made me smile, was the horse, nearly identical to one my father had on his shelf for many years. Love it! This should be an inspiring place to write! :-)

No one can ever claim that you are boring and not creative. That wall habing is the most amazing thing I have seen in a long time and very unique. I especially like the addition of the hotse. That is the finishing touch most definitely. Never a dull day at your house, Gail. xox

I love it!! You are so resourceful. Plus, it is awesome you aren't afraid of color. So many people are and it makes for lots of boring spaces. My work room is Tiffany Blue. :-)

I contrasted with yellow and white. I think blue is tranquil, too, which is why I chose it. The curtains are yellow and white stripes and my sewing chair is white leather. I think it worked out perfectly. :-)
