...maybe she is still there but is taking the much needed break from all those years of being that super Mom and super worker and super wife...god knows she might need a break from it all .."he" even asked that we all take a rest on that 7th day!! You've just stored away all those 7th days and now you have a whole year of them..to use as you see fit!!

This does sound rather familiar, although I was never as obsessive as you!

The computer is definitely addictive. Maybe wean yourself off a little but don't go back to that manic lifestyle.

You have 8 dogs, 3 horses and how much more livestock with a farm...AND are raising a grandchild...I say you do quite fine and don't need the other persona back - you have enough on your plate and have learned to slow down and see what is truly important...go with the flow.

And you obviously enjoy the computer so what is the problem there? And we obviously enjoy you, so no going away, 'kay?

Blame it on menopause. One day, that overworked and under appreciated lady had a, well smack me in the head moment. She realized there were other things more interesting in life. Perhaps instead of looking for her, you should appreciate the new lady who was welcomed in when she left. She's pretty interesting, too.

Oh Gail, This is you much needed reward. To let go of responsibility and live for the moment. Things do not need to be perfect. You just need to learn to be happy in an imperfect world. And accept this is bliss. Life is good. You are perfect just the way you are. As you can still do way more tan I can. I was wiped off my feet and had to learn. It is ok if I can not do any thing today. I learned to live with clutter. And will some day organize it. I try 10 minutes a day to do something. Some days my body will let me some days it won't.
But I have to push my self to get up. Now is that lazy. No. It is my body telling me no. Not today.

How did you get rid of her? That's me and life's too short to worry about dust bunnies!

Possibly you killed her? I never had that problem, I wouldn't mind a visit every now and then. But all the time? I think I would go nuts.

I am resembling both those women...in the same order.
I just want some balance and relief from my mind that thinks- me bad- for becoming the latter.

This is what I have thought myself to have theses days ....

There is a balance..I just know it!

I used to be a bit OC, too. But age and retirement has cured that, big time! Don't know if it's a blessing or a curse!
