I use to love going into the woods too. Until a month or so ago when Tucker and I saw a copperhead. It was dead but, no matter. I'm not going back. I hate those things. Looking for a new place now. One with no snakes. LOL
Gail, I got a strange message from you that said "Just read your beginning" and that's all there was. Did part of it get left off? I don't recognize the format, it looks like a post but it's a message.
While I appreciate the beauty and power of the coast - oceans, lakes, etc., there is nothing to me as special as the peace of the woods and the view from mountains.
Nature is always a place where we can be restored, it is our connection to spirit and where we can regain our own balance. We when stay cooped up in our box houses we miss that. You are blessed with such beautiful places to roam!

In today's world, balance is desperately needed and Nature is probable the only place to find it. Thanks for sharing your magical moments.

I appreciated the outdoors more as a youth than I do as an adult and never got bored.
