I love " shot down with the scattergun of life" - perfect description. i love the deep connection the two of you share even more. This was beautiful! Sweet photo too!
Oh so sweet!! So much in these few words - and I just so like life as a scattergun. So true. But, the love that is constant and true - how that made me smile.
You were wondering how to find Sanaa and Toni Spencer. They posted at Poetry Pantry today. Take a look, and when you find Sanaa Rizvi and Kanzensakura, you will have found them. (Smiles) And I know they will appreciate a comment. Smiles again.
This made me think that perhaps our hopes and dreams are sometimes in front of us but we do not recognise them..a powerful and wise poem...and i love the last photo particularly it completes the story
Does he see the sweet things you say about him and your marriage? I suspect he knows anyway without reading. Beautiful feelings expressed even more beautifully.

plans and dreams
shot down
with the scatter gun
of life
are nothing
YOU,
the soul of me,
always
give
more

As for the poem, I really think it is wonderful that you have found your soulmate. In fact, you are BOTH lucky indeed.
