Really sorry to hear about your computer, Gail. :-( Hubby was talking about the temperature changes too. Need to figure out our game plan for winterizing. May get a light frost next week, or so they say. Have a good weekend, Gail. ♥
Hope everything gets fixed on your computer. We had a first bit of snow yesterday - nothing much - just a smile from Mother Nature to let us know it is coming. I do hope your senior football team takes it all - GO BEARKATZ GO!!!!! We have a thin covering of ice on the ponds and also on the edge of the river - getting colder every day so I am dressing in warmer layers every day. Heading to fall fair up in St. George today - approx 45 min drive from here and then out to lunch somewhere. Sounds like a nice Saturday to me. Say hello to Marcy, TM, A n Z n paw paws. Have a great day :)
I'm no where near ready for winter yet either, much to be done. It might be more tempting to get outside if there was still some Queen Anne'e Lace to see. : )
Hate that about the computer...my husband's died a month ago too. He's no techie so the plan is that I will buy a new one (maybe next week) and give him my old one so he doesn't have to try to learn Windows 8. I'm saving my money to switch to a Mac since they seem to have far fewer problems. blessings, marlene
The Queen Anne's Lace is beautiful, the team is doing great, but the story of your computer is a heartbreaker! Is it DOA or can it be repaired? Do we need to start writing letters to Santa on your behalf? XOXO
I would be lost if my computer died because I have no back up, except for a little tablet of which I do not have the power cord. Oh boy, I better get that situation straightened out because my computer is a bit old. I hope you can get yours fixed soon, Gail, and that it won't cost too much money.
Oh shoot- I hate it when my computer dies (has happened to three different computers). The worst part is losing photos & emails that I haven't saved yet. I hope you can get yours pulled.
Gosh, sorry about the computer. Mine has been giving me fits and it's just alittle over a year old. I hate it when I can't control or fix something myself....so I understand. Winter's coming for sure and this time we did get all our stuff done before the first frost. It was shocking...we're always running around trying to get stuff done.....it feels weird to be ready. (Knocks on wood)
That has happened to me so often Sandy that I finally bought some mhertz stick for the e drive it can so much it's a 64 GB and I will never again lose all my photos

My computer popped and died.
The Senior football team, The Bearkatz, enter the conference with 8/2 record.
My computer croaked.
The temperatures are dropping more quickly than I am prepared for and there is much winterizing to be done.
The Queen Anne's Lace has survived our heavy frosts and shares her beauty with me.

The Queen Ann's lace is a beautiful flower, lovely accompaniment with bigger blooms. Hope the computer is behaving now.

I hate it when the computer says it's done. Happened so many times to me. Bugger.
Yes the fall is a beautiful time of year. Then winter. Winter is my least favorite season.
Have a terrific day. ♥♥♥

Sick computers are such a hassle -- especially for such a prolific blogger as you Gail -- hope there's an easy remedy.
Thank you so much for joining in at R5F this week -- especially after all the glitches. :)

The ball teams at the small Midwest high school where I grew up were also known as the Bearcats! :-)

I just got a new computer last week. Mine died months ago and I've been LOST.

Did you have a power flicker when this happened? Oh boy, doesn't sound good.

Sorry to hear about the computer! After our little early snow storm, we have had some nice days in the 60's. Trying to enjoy them while they last!

Why do computers have to be so temperamental, yet so necessary, especially for us bloggers?
