Oh sorry about the tooth and hubby's pacemaker that really sucks.
It is so nice that you are surrounded by wonderful memories of your Mom I know that is very special even if it makes you sad sometimes. Take care and have a nice weekend. I know how you feel about your Mom but it is my Dad I spent the day with my Mom yesterday and I realized as I was sitting watching her, it is only a matter of time. Life is hard sometimes isn't it. Hugs. B

Sending warm thoughts your way. I know what it's like to miss your parents - both mine are gone - and I envy that you live in their old home. At least you have those memories....hold them tight. My mom has been gone almost 12 years and I still miss her so much.

As far as your husband getting a pacemaker - this is a good thing. At least it will keep his heartbeat regular. I will pray for him.

I know winter is just peeking around the corner. It got to 35 last night and my bones were aching! Time to move to warmer weather, a.k.a. AZ where it is in the 80's and SUNNY!

I feel lots of sympathy for you. It's tough not being someone's child anymore, but always being the grown up. Sometimes I want my Mom around too, just to get some unconditional loving. We have to nurture ourselves now. You'll have to nurture Hubby with his new pacemaker. Good luck with that...

You and I seem to have woken up in similar states of mind today.

You've had a lot going on lately, and it makes a lot of sense that you are missing your mom. Who wouldn't be?

=)

PS. I did love seeing pics of the places where such good memories were made. Continuity is a lovely and comforting thing.

Good evening Gail, I'm so sorry to hear about your tooth and that your hubby needs a pacemaker. We will always miss our loved ones that has passed away. But in a way they're always close in our thoughts and in our hearts. Have a nice weekend! Warm hugs x

Oh, Gail -- some days are just like that and it's okay. I've been having a funky week for some reason. Hoping to snap out of it this weekend.

Big hugs to you.

Hi Gail, sorry you're feeling blue today... I guess we all have those days. But "this, too, shall pass" as my dear departed FIL used to tell me. We miss him so much. I can't imagine how it's going to hurt when my own parents are gone. I'm saying a prayer for you today that tomorrow you will be more chipper. And that the Lord will provide for a pacemaker for your husband. :-)

Missing your mom takes your mind off work. Sorry about the pacemaker, when will he be getting that? I like seeing more of your property. Lovely. And you are carrying on with a family lifestyle.

Me too.... on the tooth and missing mom.
I hope you have a better day tomorrow. I hope you find something that brings some happiness into your day; a flower, a bug, the call of a bird.

Can I just say Amen. And that I miss my mother so much that I could cry if you say hello to me. Why is it that some days are so hard about that? How old do we have to be to stop missing them? blessings, marlene
