Go to my blog and click on the thing in the top left corner that say the cutest blog on the block. They have tons of backgrounds to choose from. Just pick on and follow the directions. It is free and really easy.

I have been meaning to add some info. on my blog. Maybe I will. I know what you mean about wanting a new look. Mine is old I just haven't had time to do it. Look at the bottom of my blog for who made mine. They have some good ones and they are simple just cutting and pasting. Also phzam is simple to change too and they have lots to choose from. The cutest blog is another one that has some good stuff but I wasn't really happy with it myself it took a long time to open my blog when I used it. Good luck. I know that mine (http://sassygirlgraphics.blogspot.com/) aren't free, but there are several sites that are. Just try googling "free blogger templates" and see what you get. They usually have good instructions with them too. Before you change anything though, make sure you click the button at the top of the html page that says "download template" so that you can have your current page saved on your computer. That way, if you new bit screws up, you can simply upload your old one back up and not lose anything.
Wow, I don't get online for one day and I miss all kinds of stuff, I feel so out of the loop lol My one and only suggestion to you would be to make a file on your desktop and have all of your blog things saved there. Things like pictures, awards, etc... When I changed mine around I wrote a list of every thing I had on my old template so that I would remember to add it all again, cus it's really easy to forget exactly what you had on there, even though you look at it every day. I took a whole day to get it all right, but I finally got it! Also, there's a setting somewhere that you can set your blog to be private until you get it all fixed the way you want it, that way you can mess around with it all you want and not have everyone see all your experiments lol Good luck, I bet you'll do great, and I can't wait to see the final layout!
To use the "Cutest Blog on the Block" backgrounds, you must first be using the Blogger template called "minima". Are you using that? You could try applying "minima" and then you'd be able to enjoy the many background choices at "Cutest Blog...". Its a safe way to perk up the blog, I think.
There are some REALLY cute formats out there! Some, people have paid like $100 for.. I've thought about changing my 'underwear' too, but decided it hasn't been a year yet and I'm not into doing laundry! Took me too long to get my current one on properly... :) Good luck and will anticipate your change! (thought you didn't like doing laundry either??)
Hubby gets annoyed with me 'cause I never remember to charge my cell phone or take it with me. You could call me a technophobe. It's amazing that I blog. I only learn the bare minimum for what I want to do.It works for me, though. I use Cutest Blog on the Block, too. I've been happy so far. Wish they'd come out with some new skins soon....more farm/ranch/cowgirl ones. But heck they're free so who am I too complain?

[Image] a new blog skin or template or whatever you call it!
I tried once and lost all my widgets, whatever that is! I know all my sidebar stuff got lost somewhere in no man's land. I found a three column(will that even work?) layout or skin that I loved. That's when I lost them all. Remember when all the new side pictures appeared? That was my lucky adventure day in blog changing.
Now, you must have guessed, I am computer illiterate. I know how to turn it on, sell a few things on Ebay, save many pictures and that's about it.
I am better with a hammer and nails than with a computer. Sometimes I have thought about using the hammer while operating the computer.
In fact I'm not good at many electronic gadgets. I have a cell phone that is never on. In fact, my message is: This is Gail, my phone is probably turned off, leave a message, I may check. I have one picture locked in my camera, an Olympus Stylus, and I can't figure out how to get it off there! The picture is the hanging gallows in Fort Smith, isn't that a little ironic?
Help! The only ones available on this Blog spot are boring! I want to try my newly grown computer wings but I need someone to help me jump out of the nest.
Any suggestions or sites I might try...only one qualification...it must be free or very cheap.
