That is so awesome! I still remember shelling peas at my grandparent's house, picked right out of their garden. I used to sneak down in between shelling to pick the raspberries off the vine, too. hehe!

I remember many an hour shelling peas and snapping beans with my great-great and great-grandmothers. I loved it. We'd snap or shell, and they'd tell me stories while we worked.

Glad the boys are getting to make the same sort of special memories.
