To dream that you are saving the life of an animal, suggests that you are successfully acknowledging certain emotions and characteristics represented by the animal. The dream may also stem from feelings of inadequacy or being overwhelmed. If you are setting an animal free, then it indicates an expression and release of your own primal desires.
Sorry, I am so entertained by looking up dreams...I know, I need to get some more hobbies to keep me busy. LOL
No wonder you are tired..you have such a kind heart..wouldn't it be nice to be independently wealthy and be able to rescue all the animals...I can think of no greater mission..but alas I am poor:(
I think it shows you love for animals in this sometimes unkindly world. It also shows how brave you must often feel in the face of diversity. A lot rests on your shoulders. You must feel very responsible. You are a good woman.
What did ya eat before ya went to bed girl??? Heeehehehe!
I should talk...my dreams usually involve the Mafia and guns. My brain just never shuts down.
God bless and sweet dreams sister!

unlike the great Mr King, this one has me worried!
I had trouble sleeping last night, up and down. Just before I abandoned the bed for the day, I realized I was dreaming...or was it a nightmare???
In my dream, I had discovered people were putting their no longer wanted pets in a gigantic trash compactor. I saw the truck coming through and there were horses and dogs. It horrified me!!! At first I could not see them for all the trash and then I could see them peeking out here and there.
It was almost sci-fi. The compactor was made on a grand scale and was big enough to hold truck loads at time. I discovered I could access the compactor by saying, "I have trash" and the doors would open. Instead of putting in trash, I was pulling animals out.
The more I pulled out, the more I could see. This became my routine on trash day. It was also unlawful. I was warned, by friends, the animals had not been innoculated and I was courting danger but I ignored them.
After my rescues, I would stand outside, talking people into taking them home with them. They would describe what they wanted and I would pull one out.

What a nightmare! How awful, but how wonderful that you saved them. Did you wake up exhausted from all of that work?!

OH MY GOSH!!! This IS a nightmare. *shudder*
I hope that day never arrives, but you know, the dark, cynical side of me could see it as a possibility.
Not only would they collect animals, but the weak, old, infirm....
Wow. I hope you have some sound, deep, dreamless sleep!

Definitely a nightmare. *Hugs*
Hope your day treats you well, Gail. ♥

With the sale of small critters at Easter coming up - such dreams take on a certain reality.
Then we read about another puppy mill being found.

That dream sounds horrifying. And that's no exaggeration.

Sounds like your sleep is going to the dogs. Have you ever tried counting sheep?

That was an awful dream the kind that stays with you all day, but on the bright side you saved the animals. Hope you have a peaceful sleep tonight.
