I love it all and these are my most favorite, the treadle, the other part of the sewing machine, the milk can, the tractor, and the stove. mike and frank of American pickers would buy all those from you. they use them to create art on the wall to sell in their store
Oh goodness what a fun tour this was, love all your goodies. Scooby-Doo my daughter's most favorite of all time, and it's hard for me to keep any Scooby around here without a lock and key! Hehehe!
It's all art......art of the heart and soul. I have collections and treasure too that others probably wouldn't understand, but then they don't live inside my head. Love what you do and why. xoxo Oma Linda
Great treasures on your Porch Respite . . . Love the wooden pieces and gourds . . . Treddle piece . . . Old stove piece . . . A Porch That Tells Stories . . .
I have many of the same odd things but they are scattered in 4 different buildings on the compound. I like that you don't care who sees them or what they think. I still worry about the back porch by the kitchen which everyone uses as a front entrance. Silly, I know.
I always enjoy my visits to your blog Gail ... Certainly do not get rid of Scooby Doo, at the moment two of our grandchildren are avid watchers of Scooby Doo on TV - he's been around a few years now hasn't he!

I would love to sit on your porch with you, drink sweet tea, and discuss life's oddities.

Many things I do have an unusual touch. It is me and I enjoy the freedom to be me. My Dreaming Porch has things many people would not show but I am happy and comfortable with them.

The wood stove oven from my playhouse in the woods

a felt fish on a broken treadle sewing machine peddle

my broken aquarium

my re-purposed floor vent and metal table

another broken part of a sewing machine

Dad's antique cage with wood cookies, gourds and a solar light

an old rusty milk can with a tray of rocks and a candle

another view of my dry aquarium

second generation Scooby Doo...
I couldn't get rid of him

My deep freezer is here
with a box of toys
a metal tractor
and my forgotten mop bucket.
These are the things on my porch.
