This is why people have a fear of clowns.. just joking. It does kind of make you wonder whether a child is safe or not at a circus because clowns are one of the many attractions there. I always enjoyed watching their slapstick comedy. There are bad touches out there everywhere of all shapes and sizes, just need to be on edge all the time when a person looks at your child I guess. Pretty sad now that I think about it.
I didn't know any such thing existed out of movies. Disgusting. But can't blame too. He was a psycho and this was his pleasure. Uggh! Feels like throwing up.
I think you really drilled down here, Gail , and i like what you found...thanks for sharing ! .....together we can destroy the cult of posituve thinking that threatens our civilisation !
You see it's boobs/bad guys like him that give clowns a bad name. Thank goodness I only follow the Happy Clowns. Still my daughter (horribly afraid of clowns) I have no clue why, she hates any and all of my clowns. Boo-hoo, because I have some really cute ones. Truly!
Creativity is wild; and some days, she has to stick her hand in nasty places. I'm sure that at least one person who reads this would benefit from learning about the atrocities committed by this monster. And you showed it to us in poetry--the handler and teller of all things.

WARNING: THIS TRIO OF LIMERICKS IS DISTURBING AND DISGUSTING.
APOLOGY: I WRITE WHAT COMES TO MIND. THERE WAS NO JOY IN THIS WRITING.
John Wayne Gacy liked young boys
He played rough and then destroyed
Promises lured them inside
Gacy gave them a ride
And Pogo was filled with joy
Thirty-three he did whack
While forcing them on their back
Ropes or boards at their throats
Gleefully, cheerfully, he did gloat
No one knew he was a maniac
Finally caught way too late
Under his house graves did wait
Hauled to jail and tried for murder
Gacy was a multiple disturber
By lethal injection he met his Fate
[Image]
Perhaps the most chilling image of Gacy of all

This sounds like something small children should be chanting at the beginning of a horror movie. Dang. Creepy but well executed.

you masterfully wrote of a horror that is unspeakable. But you found words to tell of it so well. I too take joy in your talent. xoxo Linda

That's horrible - not your poem, what he did to those boys.
A very powerful poem and chilling image.
