That is your heart Gail and I love this side of you as well as the dark. Guess what, the storm is over, we got approx 8-10 inches of just snow - the sky this morning is greeting me with hues of pink n blue - its going to be a grand day once the plows come through and we get our shovels busy - plus we have help to do so. I am excited to go play in the snow. Happy New Year, Eh to y'all. Thank you Marcy for the beautiful card and note, eh - very thoughtful. lol
this is fantastic and oh so true and i love the self of YOU... may I use this on my NY post? i will link it back to you... this is perfect for the new year... LOVE IT...
i think we def need to consider the implications of our actions...and in how we portray ourselves to others...to truly know though we need to go much deeper....
Happy New Year Lookin' good girl:) Love your poetry. Hug B

self-portrait, Gail
Do we reflect our goodness
To the people we meet?
Or does our badness show
As plainly as our feet
I can reflect on actions past
I can reflect the sun
But all reflections
Are things that are done
We must take this moment
Like a tiger by the tail
Reflect on consequences
Mark our decisions well
For only in a moment
Can we decide for sure
How we will reflect our light
Let it be good and pure

Thanks, Tess.
