mother loved her jonquils and so do i. these are so cheerful and that moss is wonderful... is that the kind that when stepped on with bare feet is is slippery as glass?
Beautiful! Our spring starts usually around the first of June or so here on the mountain. So, everything and everybody is busy, busy, busy. The bees, the birds, the bear, and the humans trying to get all spring and summer things planted and eaten and/or canned and dead trees cut and stacked for the winter which is not far behind.
Ours is coming, but you never know about those first 3 weeks in March. We can still have wicked storms and much snow. I remember one May when we had a heck of a storm and got about 4 feet of snow - that was an unusual spring. Lovely to see spring popping growth in your area. H to M :)
I'm sure hoping that winter doesn't do a turn around for us here in Minnesota where winter has been just a blessing! Can you believe that? I'm still thinking it's too good to be true!

The Blanket Moss begins to grow in the waterways.

I think we have jonquils, but all we have are clumps of green. Makes the yard look scruffy, and men keep threatening to mow, haha.
Blessings, Gail. ♥

Our flowering vines are indicating summer here, and we are hoping for some rain this evening. Love those yellow daffys.
