Mother Nature is there to teach us, if only we were to learn our lessons well. I don't think politics is a fruit salad; I love fruit salad. I think politics is more of a compost bin. Just sayin'.

I too feel this way. No matter how crazy my day gets, I can sit on the deck and watch the sun set and feel one on one with Mother Nature. I have been busy in the city with a friend that just had surgery, with two trips this week. Yesterday's trip found colour in her face and sitting on edge of bed from hip surgery, so I have lots to be thankful for. Have a wonderful day. H to M.....almost have small parcel ready for delivery :)

As a child my friend took some tad poles from some pond. He gave me a few and I put them in a fish bowl outside. The majority of them died. But I think one grew up to be a frog

Oh yes, so very important for the quietness of our souls...my husband reads those Alex Cross books too. :) Fruit salad is a great description! Very polite too.

What a crop of pollywogs. Sometimes nature is just the thing to take the crazy taste out of our mouths with the current political situation.

Mother Nature always there for us - especially when there are times when she can help soothe our souls.
Although I wish some may treat her more kindly,

All the best Jan

Yes, sometimes it seems that Mother Nature and the One who created her are all we have to lean on.

Fruit salad is the perfect description for this mess, and I so agree with you that nature soothes and heals, and helps us regain perspective.

Once I had a tank of tadpoles, where some disappeared each day. Then one was left, one big transformed frog.
