At lease I know you're human like the Pres and I! LOL!!! The Pres thinks he's still driving a fire engine on the way to a fire so my hair is always in a blown back style! Why fight it?!!!...:)JP
ha ha ho ho he he, I WILL remind you next year when you plan another trip... that is if i remember by then... glad you did not lose your humor button while on that busy and fast road... big old muddy river..
Wow! Seeing your photos of the river brought back a memory for me. The last time I saw that river I was 8 or 9 years old. That was my last trip back to Arkansas to see my grandpa!
This also reminds me of how my hubby and I are when traveling together...in the end though, it's all worth it!
LOL I so totally understand the direct relationship between tiredness and grumpiness. We experience that a lot!

at seventy-five plus miles per hour is an excellent way to take photos. I have a lot of pictures but will spare you from most. I contorted and stretched to acquire some of these as we flew past. Andrew helped take photos too. I'll see more reviewing photos than I did driving through. I am grateful for the opportunity to ride the Hubby-driven Southwest Express Truck.

And the journey began.
Things I learned or remembered:
Hubby does not travel well.
We have an equal level of temper and bullheadedness.
We are both equally right...or wrong.
The degree of tiredness relates directly to unkind words and wrong turns.
In the end we do come home together.
In the end the unkind words and discomfort are forgotten.
In the end we erroneously think, Hey, that wasn't so bad! Next year we'll...

Gail,
I believe we all have a little of the same thing in our families. Love the pictures of the river in Arkansas.
