I tried fake snakes to scare the monkeys off my fruit trees in Kenya, but they weren't fazed at all. Lifted the snake, nicked the fruit and scampered. Uh-oh. I know that feeling of did I didn't I take that pill. Glad you're OK. I LAUGHED MY HEAD off at your hubby looking for your clothes in the crock. My exciting day started at 2.56am at the ATM bank in town. Grant and I collect MIL's pension grant at this time of the morning else we have to face the queues later in the day - meaning I have to face the queues. He'd leave it to me. Thanks for this great post. Blessings Jo

I misplace things all the time - it's ridiculous how much time I would have in my day without all those snipe hunts...

I'm painting a boatload of recycled/donated items outside, including about a dozen chairs I started forever and day ago, and the weather definitely makes it a challenge. It's drag it all out, put it all back before the rain; drag it all out, put it all back before the rain; yadda, yadda). I definitely feel your pain! ;o)

Hello, cool snake shot. My hubby is always losing his glass, they end up in the weirdest place. Have a happy day and week ahead!

love the fake snake... we have one that is so real. we are going to put it on our front walk to stop the mail person that walks across the porch even after she was asked twice not to. hoping it will scare the poop out of her and make her use the drive way.
i am laughing really hard at the clothes being where you looked FIRST... that is what i can't understand. i lose things and look where they might be and when i go back they are there. i just don't GET IT.... also i did the same thing with my BP pills, and i did not die either.. also found the tiny white pill STUCK in the pill divider where it should have been.... we are all in the same sinking boat

No missing underwear but I can never find my "reader glasses!"
ON MY HEAD . . .
Don't scare me with snakes or mice . . .
Seriously!

That snake head sent chills over me. I've about had it with snakes! :) Haven't misplaced any underclothes lately, but just about everything else I put my hands on disappears. I did find my dish rag in the freezer.

Lol...um, no! But that doesn't mean I didn't misplace my phone for the umpteenth time! I might do worse than that if that snake showed up around here!

You're too tough for one extra pill to take down.
I would've just skipped the underwear...

Actually, I did. I wasted a good half hour trying to find my fresh-from-the-clothesline undies. I had folded them up with a towel. You are not alone...

ROFL at the underwear that went AWOL, I do this stuff all the time! One time I put my car keys in the fridge when I stopped to get some water. I looked forever for those car keys, I am so absent minded! At least you had them in a place clothes go, hiding them in the crock I might have worried about! LOL ;-) Fake snakes would scare the crap out of me too, just as do real snakes. Beautiful, yes - useful, sometimes, but I like them best at a distance... like miles away!! Ask Papa Bear how fast I can climb a hill if one comes toward me! :-) Can't wait to see a picture of your house all done, I love barn red, it looks great with green grass and trees! xoxo

Well, your dirty clothes were in the hamper. Your clean clothes were lost. No wonder, Tractor Man was not trying very hard to help you find your clothes. It sounds like you were nekkid!

Oh, I love this story ... it made me laugh.
There are times when we all do things like this.

Wishing you well with the painting, stay safe in the storms.

All the best Jan

Sure glad the pill didn't get you. I usually forget a dose, not double up.
I think losing stuff is God's way of making sure we get enough exercise. Those extra steps to find things add years. That is my theory and I am sticking to it.

Sounds normal to me, I am always laying things down before getting them to their final destination! I think it is an age related thing:)

I misplace stuff all the time. I don't think I have misplaced underwear yet. But unless I was looking for it, how would I know? ^_^

Once I came home from the grocery store and after putting items away, couldn't find the celery! I silently swore those folks who bagged my groceries forgot to put it in my bag! Later on that day, I opened the freezer to grab something and guess what I found... yep, the celery. It was mush, had to throw it away.
