Thought provoking poem!

Gail, I was in the middle of my post when you left your comment. So maybe things didn't make sense when you were there before. Visit again if you would like.

My goodness, Gail.....this is beautiful, deep and meaningful, too. I had many similar thought patterns today after the funeral, but certainly could not have put them so fittingly into words as you have here.

What kind of pods are in the photo? We have something similar growing down by Crane Creek.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Very nice, love the poem and the picture.
Hope today is a great one to start out the new year! I know I said it a million times already but ah well, can't have too many good wishes right? lol
By the way, I always love to hear which song will start playing when I come here, always love your choice in music, some of those songs bring back lots of good memories for me.

Your lovely poem touchd my heart, Gail.

I hardly ever weep softly, though. Call me the drama girl, if you like. I'm either tough as nails and stoic, or bawling my eyes out.
There's rarely an in between for me. They call folks like me 'passionate'. lol!

Happy New Year to you....and HUGS!
