Have you noticed that women of that generation seemed to like marigolds, zinnias, roses...Monday would have been my Grandmother's b'day...she would have been...hhhmmm...111...guess that's why she's not here...and Mom's been gone since 1986......we miss them forever, don't we...
Of what I know of you, if you were my daughter, I would be so proud and thrilled to call you not only daughter but friend. You are so sweet to do this tribute to your Mom....proof is in the love. The Olde Bagg
Oh sweetie, ya know she was proud of you...how could she not be??? Where there is a mother's love you find a mother's pride. I bet she's lookin' down at you right now bustin' her buttons tellin' those around her...that's my girl!!!
What a lovely tribute to your dear Mama, wonderful pics too but what else is new??? Heeehehe!
Enjoy your day girl and may it be filled with warm fuzzy blessings!!!! :o)
Sounds like your mom was like mine, she really never showed any emotion at anything I did so I never knew if she was proud or not. I came to realize that she might be hardening me up to face the world and I have to admit my skin is very thick. I always think back to Johnny Cash's song called " A boy named Sue". Have a blessed day.
I am sorry..some people are not real forthright with their feelings..and it is difficult for them to show their emotions..perhaps she was one of those women. I am sure she loved you..how could she not love your sweet spirit:)
How very poignant. How important it is to tell our children how much we love them, how proud we are. It doesn't matter how many people tell you that she was proud of you - you need her to tell you.Reading this short, sweet post has brought a tear to my eye.I am sure that your own children know exactly how proud you are of them and that is something good.My dad never told me he loved me and I make sure my children know how much I love them every day.You are certainly a woman well worth being proud of. xx

You must have felt loved to have loved your mom and to miss her. Where there is love, there is pride for our children, I believe.
Nice remembrance.

How could she NOT be proud of you? But she was of the generation to not speak of such. You'd have to know by her actions.
