"......and they did not even ask his grandmother for permission." love it!...no sense of propriety there...but that's football for you.

Sorry Andrew cried over the loss, that is hard to take. Unfortunately for our kids life is not always a 12-0 season.

Sucks. The grandma line made me smile tho' I hope he is okay.

That's too bad and then they had Andrew's number on top of that. I guess he is pretty fearsome, did you tell him that? That coach is a sneak. He ought to get a good yelling at.

At least it was a close game. But I don't suppose that makes Andrew feel any better.

His team did well, life is just hard sometimes.

Indeed, a close game, and of course, someone always has to lose. So sorry it was Andrew's time, and that they had to pile on him. Who did they think they were, without even asking his grandma first??!!! How dare they!

Hope Andrew is feeling a little better today.

Ya win some, ya lose some..tis life...but the fact that Andrew is playing a team sport is wonderful. I don't think there is anything else on this earth that teaches team work and helps an individual gain confidence in himself like a sport. Those were tears for the team's effort..sometimes there are tears of joy and sometimes there are tears of defeat..but it sure teaches that no man is an island onto himself...next time Andrew..next time!!
