Yes, I am grateful that we are on high ground, too. The river is right behind us, we could see it out our back windows before they built the condos. What a sight this is!!

i always appreciate the high ground...i have seen my ground floor rooms become swimming pools and things floating around in the 90's..
ugh..and the hard task of cleaning after the flood...still i feel even flood is better than no rain...nice lines :)
