We did the same thing when we built our deck, except we just stained everything as it arrived from lumber yard. Interesting imprint of the crop rectangles and I like the colour of the porch. Looks kinda like the colour of my house.

Gail! I've just been catching up over here! Wowza- talk about a week. What are we to do with stubborn men who want to eat what they want to eat? I finally told mine that he could have whatever he wanted but not here in my house. He would have to go to a fast food place or get someone else to cook for him. He decided to adjust to what I'm doing. I just refused to help him kill himself. Men. And me too, I guess, as I might be a bit stubborn too. Ok, just disregard this. LOL Hope all is going well!
