I love this poem. It's me to a T. Wonder if I'll ever experience the last strophe. :)

this one is cool and i like it lots. it says exactly what i would say if i had one iota of writing talent. yappers make me crazy, barkers make me crazy. and there are times when Jake or baby whine and they are amusing. like when bob is in the back yard and they are in the kitchen, it is a whine that says out out i want out. you could change the word from dog to child and i would feel the same.

What a clever piece of poetry!! Our Mulligan produces a quiet, one note whine when he wants to get in our laps.

Hmm. I love this! Leo is a moaner. And a whiner. And a barker. He seldom growls though--even when he's on full alert. He is deadly silent and then he pounces. Pity the burglar who picks my house on a whim.

A good response to a prompt that didn't inspire me enough to make myself stop talking to my son's friends who were over for a BBQ.
