Wow more treasure that always makes me want to run to your farm and help you:) Love your both favourite rocks.Tractor tire draining is hard work. Good job you two. Hug B
WOW - what a feat - I would be exhausted. It sure is coming along and beginning to peek my curiosity towards the finished "line". Treasures in your yard. I recently read a story about arrow heads and it was stated that the black/dark blue arrowhead was the most difficult to create, shape as the stone was harder and took more time to ?shave/shape. Do you know anything about this Gail or anything about arrowheads that perhaps could find a way into your posts. Cheers n hugz to all :)
hubby was right, that second rock is perfect for water to run down it into the tire... the frogs will love their new home... i had this picture of you trying to twirl that stone, kind of like us and that 100 pound plant last week.. have fun building your pond, i know you will
Wow, now that is a beauty of a rock and large. It looks like you were able to position the rock as you wanted. Nice finds on the smaller rocks. I can't wait to see your final project.

You & Tractor Man were made for each other. What an incredible team you are, and what a special farm you have. There is always something going on.
Wow! When you get into rock projects you mean BIG rocks! Sure is great you have a handy guy and a sturdy tractor! :-) This is going to be very cool, can't wait to see it finished. It really sounds like he enjoys these projects as much as you!

Hubby helped me place this wonderful huge rock with his tractor. No way a normal human could lift this. I worked. I arranged. I dug.

Hubby arrives a few days later and says, I've found a better rock!!! It has a hollow and a stream build into it. So we spent a little time dragging the other "perfect" rock out and placing the second.
It was so heavy the tractor had trouble lifting it with a chain. Hubby has this wonderful idea. As this rock is suspended from the tractor with a chain I am to take a rope and twirl this "perfect" rock in position. It didn't happen. I struggled. Hubby did most of the work with his Kubota.

Removing the liner from the tractor tire was quite the job. It had to be emptied. I removed the tacks that held the liner in place.
Hubby made short work of removing it from the ground

and delivered it to the new location.

The old tractor tire will live on in a new location.
Water will circulate from the rock/water fall into tire.
I have much more to do but I am tired for today.

Even in our yard I found treasure!

Fun project - that's going to look terrific.

Looks like team work happening instead of "pulling pranks" on one another. The tire tractor water well lives on . . . with treasures to boot.

You made me tired just reading your post!
I love your treasures as always. :-)
Rained and cooled off to 93!
We did an hour or so work in the pasture and both got dehydrated, even though we both had drinks.
Can't wait to see your finished pond, Gail. I love your creativity!
Have a good pre-evening, Gail! ;-)
