I prefer things with legs and fur or hair! Thank goodness we only have one type of poisonous snake in UK...and that is small and not liable to be around habitation.
I don't know if I would have disposed of it humanely. I don't know if I could have killed it either. I would have been plain scared. I would have left it to someone else to deal with probably.
What were you saying about your blog having run its course? It showed up on my feed and then disappeared. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Don't you dare disappear Gail or I will have to come to Arkansas & drag you back to your computer!!! I hope I got it wrong or that you were having a blip... S
And yeah Gail the header is awesome, but I could swear that was not the same header that was there when I did my comment yesterday morning. No way I woulda missed that :)

Our main use for bird netting is to protect the plants from birds so we may have a full harvest. As we use the netting, we discover new purposes. It does make a wonderful cat toy but you must keep an eye out for someone possibly getting tangled.

Yep, I remember the dreaded copperhead snake from my childhood in ILL. I was always on the look out for them...and water moccasins too!
