I wonder Gail, how many people might know that the insect kingdom make wonderful food - I mean, heck, if you are stuck and its all around you, dig in and do the "survivor man" thing - lots of nourishment there, Eh :)
yum yum on the berries and get that grasshopper off that flower.. so much beauty out there, it is everywhere and you found a good selection to show us. i love your header, and now i am wondering how long it has been there. the rooster caught my eye, he is gorgeous. and you peeking over the rock. tell me this is new and i have not missed it...

the dewberries here are long gone as is the queen anne's lace. Nice to see a monarch. I haven't seen any around here so far this year.

Love the 'small world' pictures. We just need to stop and look, and we would be fascinated by what we would find.

Gail,
The world we live in today is fast and furious, and all electronic. I think we need to step back in time, and appreciate what was given to us.
Both earth and nature are changing with the times and the pollution, let's all appreciate what's left.
Your pictures capturing pieces of mother nature in it's glory are beautiful.
