You're a good poet, Gail. I appreciate spiders myself. They are good for the garden and I don't always discourage them from out of my cottage, either. I just keep them under control in numbers.
i am a spider hater and killer of what i see. but photos don't scare me, just the real thing. like that middle one that you have posted before, the wolf i think you called it, those suckers can JUMP really far. great post and hope you still have a friend after today
Awe, Pat, plaese reconsider. Gail, I like your frogs much better than the spiders. In fact I hurried through the spiders, where there more than one? Yuk!
I too, am laughing at Pat's response - you girls are too funny. Spiders, frogs, mice - whatever - they do not bother me. They all have a job with Mother Nature to balance this planet of ours. The spiders round n aboot the house build the most beautiful webs and they spend the summer getting nice n fat - then the birds eat them. Enough said. Nice photos Gail.
I love spiders! What a great and creative entry :)

My theme today is just for Pat.
She loves spiders and that is that.
So if you dislike spiders at all,
Time to run or look to the wall.
A Leopard Frog has rows of spots
And waits for spiders
Believe or not.
This gives you time to back out
SPIDERS AHEAD!
LOOK OUT!
Each has legs,
count them...eight.
Eyes are different
They can have zero to eight.
Some build webs
Some just crawl
But they eat bugs
That's the best part of all.
So rows of eight
Are my rows today
I can't wait to hear
What Pat has to say!
Visit A View From The Edge
Where Pat is my friend
After these spiders
That may all end.

I used to have a pal
She was such a sweet gal.
She lived on a farm
that had a lot of charm,
with chickens, cows, dogs and cats.
Can you even imagine that?
But there are other things that
live on the farm,
that unfortunately do NOT have
a lot of charm.
Like slithery, slinky snakes
and BIG HAIRY SPIDERS.
And in the end,
my used-to-be-friend,
INSISTED on showing photos
of things that make me SCREAM.
She is my friend no more.
***to answer your question on my post today*** "a little bit of both!"
