You've got it looking good! Your farm is beautiful. I wondered if it was normal for a fig to look like that. Ours looked the same and I cut back all those dead limbs.
LOOKING GOOD... you should be slumped down exhausted today but i know you will be out at sun up using those tools... you should take a day to hang out with bonnie in her private pool.. LOL....I liked the new size of the header...
You inspired me. :) :) I used one of those big clipper thingies yesterday and cut lower limbs on my redbud...which I am sure is going to die now because it's the wrong time of year..but I was tired of getting slapped in the face with the limbs when I mow! Took me 10 minutes...hmmm..somehow I don't think I worked as hard as you do. Rest up now, ok?
Not possessed, maybe a little obsessed but that's good. You're trying to get caught up on work. When your done there on the farm, I have more if you'd like more things to do.
Great improvement. I am always playing catch up with no excuses for me. Isn't is satisfying when you get a project done?

Help! I can't stop.

The fig won the draw
along with the plum trees
and a few other sprouts.

Plants sprouting every where.
I guess you're wondering what is wrong with me.
Remember last year Hubby almost died?
I didn't do much trimming then.
Well, I'm playing catch up.

The Lady Bug posed.

Found a vacant nest from last year
and have baby figs!

Does it look like I did any thing?
Fig straight ahead, plums to the left,
minus the dead limbs and stray trees.

The tools wait for another job.

It looks GREAT! I've found that if I don't keep up then nature wins big time, then it's horrible for this old woman to cut it back.

Do you cut down the sprouts or move them elsewhere?
