I missed it, too. I was prepared to get up at 2:00 am to witness it and take pictures, but it was so overcast here in central IL, there was no way I was going to see anything. Darn!
My daughter and I sat on the front porch steps and watched it. It was very cool to see. Tried to get photos, but my camera just isn't good enough for that.
I love your sense of humor! :) Good thing I saw it as I don't think I'll be around for the next one.
I agree...family living is the way to go if we are to survive in this economy. I think I like you guys...maybe we can make our commune together! :)

[Image]The first time a lunar eclipse has occurred during the winter solstice in 372 years and I missed it!! I shot the moon Wednesday morning as I drove to work, thinking what a fool I was not to witness this event.

Alot of people I know stayed up to watch the eclipse. I got up in the middle of the night to see it. Awesome!

I missed it, too. I stayed up, but our skies were covered in clouds. Alas, no moon to be seen.
