I know...I've pondered this since I was a little Farm Chicklett. How the heck do animals sleep standin' up!!! I'd fall flat on me face!

You're right about having to sneak up on the horses to catch them napping. I have very few pictures of my guys in repose. Your shots are great. I love the nose propping up the head! It's also fun when they roll down onto their sides... but then, they do look kinda dead and it's scary!
