They grow those cowboy types in Texas. It's so refreshing!

Nothin' like a cowboy!
Sadly, it's been all too many years since I've gone to Cheyenne Frontier Days or the Greeley Stampede. Plenty of cowboy action in both of those places! Also there's the demolition derby, where one can let one's inner redneck come out and have fun.

I don't dream of men, but I know what you mean. I've seen these men in movies and enjoy the romance of that strength. Nicely parsed, image by image, to build a man.

Amen, Gail. These men are few and far between...and very special.

Hi Gail, Thanks so much for commenting on my blog today. I have missed you... Hope you are keeping Arkansas in ONE HAPPY PIECE just for us.. We love that state SO much!!!!

I didn't find me a cowboy---but I did find the 'bestest' guy in the world for me: smart, compassionate, loving, and he drives a Prius!!!!!!

Great poem...
Hugs,
Betsy

A great tribute to those type of men who observe gentility and manners. And, cowboys are the best image of that.

Oh, by the way, I listed you as a blogger I would miss if you stopped blogging.
