"We question the realities of time after time" is such a very apt phrase for what we do not question enough! An interesting and thought-provoking piece--I am trying to do a lot more questioning as I age. Thanks. k .

I really like this one. You painted a clear picture for me, one that I think is very relatable. Excellent, Gail.
Someday I will rejoin poetry circles. Unfortunately, too much keeps me from writing and meme sharing right now.

'Party's over masks are dropped'

'We question the reality'

'the hands drop from time'

My three favourite pieces - don't know why? Should I analyse why?
No ... I just enjoyed it.

Well Done

All the best Jan

Interesting that the masks are dropped after midnight. If only there was no need to wear masks at all!

That is a powerful closing, so often we go out into the world desperate to belong return home feeling ashamed and dirty and not at all loved or worthy (no matter how much positive reinforcement was received). So many of us feel like impostors and live with this constant fear of being found out because we never let anyone see or love the real person inside.
