The flowers are BEAUTIFUL. What a wonderful way to start my day!
I have been away visiting my family and friends in Maryland for the last two weeks, so I am home and trying to catch up on the blogging routine this morning. And as I said, "What a wonderful way to start my day!" with your lovely pictures. Flowers are tops among some of my favorite things.
Were you affected by the nasty weather in your area last night? I thought about you last evening when I saw the weather map. I hope this morning finds you and yours well in your neighborhood.
You have beautiful flowers in your garden, Gail. I hope they didn't all get demolished by whatever storm you had. Hope you are okay there. Please let us know.
GORGEOUS flowers! Where we are currently renting, we have found many flowers and are enjoying them immensly. The lilacs have already finished, but yesterday found the red climbing rose has started to open it's blooms, the Peony is just about to explode and the iris have their buds up just about to open. I have some photos on my blog, too.

Wow Gail, y'all have some beautiful flowers in your yard. I love Bearded Iris. What is the name of the purple star shaped flower (second one down)?

Oh wow! These are all so beautiful! I'm enjoying these especially because we are in the midst of a serious blizzard right now...a white out!

Pretty flowers! Wish I had a scratch and sniff screen.....I, too, want to know what that second one is called - the purple star looking one.
