do what you can while you can... its great to see the bees though...means spring is in the air...i wont mess with them but i will appreciate them...smiles.
Thank you for bringing in the humble, industrious, magical bee! I keep wishing I had a large enough garden to have a couple of bee hives - I love them (and their honey). A fun, easy to read poem, one I'm sure my kids would appreciate as well!
I know we need the bees, but I don't love them and i don't want them in the yard. tried to get bob to remove the bee tree, but he will not... the tree HUMS ... we now have bees and mosquitoes.. they are here for the duration. i like my pollen spread with butterflies...
Such hard little workers. I love seeing them with all the pollen gathered on their legs. Can't wait for things to start blooming here so that the butterflies and bees return.

Bees are so important for us, yet so under threat. A great poem to honour our buzzy friends!

This made me smile, Gail. Loved it. Though as this is our very first warm day, I hated even reading the word winter....hee hee.

This is simply a "honey" of a poem! ...and besides honey, we need bees to pollinate crops and fruit trees..such industrious and vital creatures.

Somehow there is a lot to learn from the bees.. but humanity seems to consist of just queen bees... hmmm

Such a tiny insect can inflict a serious sting. Well done on the metaphor.

Bees are fascinating insects. I have a friend who keeps them. Are they still dying out? I had heard that, and it concerns me.
