Gail, you have broad interests!

I like rocks too. Recently had to help our granddaughter search the farm to find fossils for a class. It made me look closer at our rocks.

The rocks have voices to those that have their ears tuned to the sound of history and prehistory. I love this post. Makes me want to go out into the yard and sit and sort through my "stash". xoxo Linda

Rocks have always fascinated me through casual reading. But being passionate and collecting them that is amazing. There are obviously lots of history and mystery embedded in the hardened specimens. Great write, great pics Gail! Thanks for sharing!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE rocks. I collect them, too. Love your Crone stone (I call them Witch stones, and my holey ones are favorites in my collection).

By the way, love your sparkly nail next to the stone. ;-)

Are you sure that we aren't sisters? I am a rock watcher, picker-up, put them in my rock places.

I miss the wading in the streams back home.

You are an even greater rock lover than I am, which is saying a lot. Dave is always laughing at me collecting them wherever we go. And he raises his eyebrows at the collections of them I have in the house…in bowls, baskets, siting alone on the hearth or a shelf, etc.

=)
