What a lovely area. I especially love the rock walls. You could use some spray paint made for BBQ grills to pain a camouflage design on the pipe. Maybe something that would blend in with the rock wall. Glad you saw the wasp before it got a chance to sting you. I'm not allergic to them but sure don't like them.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a drain spout like that. How neat! After reading this I feel like I need to turn the air conditioner on.

You are a busy bee today! (Not a wasp, at all!)
I think wasps 'quiet' in the evening. You may want to try your dastardly deed when they are sleeping!

Your garden area is quite attractive...except for the wasps. Those stupid things will build in the worst places with just a little opportunity. Everything has it purpose, but what is a wasp's purpose again?

I abhor wasps. Here's hoping you get a hefty downpour that lasts long enough to wash the buggers out. May you not be near them when that happens.

Don't worry about trying to spray up the pipe. Just spray from a distance and coat the outside and what inside the spray gets. It will probably be enough to kill them or get them to move, at least.

Glad you weren't stung!

Happy Sunday to you all. :)

I hate wasps too, I have never see a red one before, I bet it is worse than a regular one.
I worked out in the heat today too and I am still tired but I got lots of stuff finished. I don't know if I would have remembered to take pictures. I was so sweaty I think my camera might have got to wet.
I hope you get to rest today.

Please be very careful with those wasps, Gail. I don't want you to get multiple stings. I assume you have the antidote to inject yourself with? Or however that works?

You did a really nice job on the corner....i like the gargoyle tho. Maybe put a pot of morning glorys there and let them vine up around the drain pipe...that will hide it.

My admiration--it's just too hot. I give!!
We have wasps up at the lake. Hubby sprays in the evening when they're back in their nests and finished with their day.

I'm always glad that my husband is the one who deals with wasp nests. I'm allergic to them, too, and I don't relish having a run-in with one!

Hope you eradicate them safely.
