I think you did a really good job with both pictures and video! We can see everything we need, and it is clear. Flying around like that so fast, it is hard to show. YEAH, your new header is HERE!

Gail, you captured pictures of the birds very well. Once they've learned to fly, you'll look back and the only thing left is a nest of mud, and several small piles of presents until next year.

I think that Spielberg needs to watch out for you--I think your photos (and video) have captured it perfectly!

Our little fledglings have now gone, so we hung up some streamers after taking down the nest to keep them from building another one. But alas, they just keep finding another spot....and it's by our front door, high up in the alcove. Yuk, they do make a mess!

Well that first picture is so adorable, I would have been happy with just that one. They look so sweet. You have the most interesting things around your place to write about.

I love these sweet birds. We encourage them to nest in our sheds and garage. Even the front porch has a nest. We accept the mess (!!)as the price we have to pay.

You got some really NEAT shots there and I enjoyed the video. The Mother/Father was trying to coach them out of the nest. Cute I am thinking about my baby cardinals and what an adventure it was to watch them grow and be fed. They had the privacy of my back fenced in yard and the baby became very familiar with my voice - I felt sad when they learned to fly and left. I enjoyed your post very much. Smiles n Chuckles to all n special hugz to M :)

I love swallows! You did a great job! Any bird in flight is hard to capture! We use to have swallows come nest on our front porch each year, but haven't seen them the last two years. I miss them!

I just love these little tweeters(okay a bit messy)but I'm so used to having them circle around me on the lawn tractor! Can't understand why my neighbor always swept away their nests at her house!
