"Progress moves with the speed of molasses around here." I can so relate, Gail! Some days, I work what seems to be nonstop, only to look around and wonder, "WHAT has been accomplished?" ;)

Thanks for visiting today. I would love to have you join me for my party this week. The link goes up on Wednesday nights, and ANY current post can be linked.

Looks better than House and Garden or any such to me, Gail.
Enjoy your time off from work. :)

Looks way better than House and Garden...cause it's real!! You have done an amazing amount of work in a short time! Wanna come landscape my yard next? It's a blank canvas just waiting for someone to help it along!

A week of vacation...now that sounds nice!

I'm home today too...not on vacation but feeling crappy and never made it in to work. Ugh!

You have very steadily moving molasses there and you got a lot accomplished in that heat. More than I would have, I can assure you of that.

I love the picture of the milk can with the branches sticking out. I'd pick your style over Home and Garden any day. Your style is you. Have a great vacation.

Your hard work makes the areas you shared with us look great! I love the stone on the wall of your house, and your porch is very inviting... it says, "Come on in!"

Enjoy your vacation... although it sounds like you plan to go back to work dog-tired from working around the yard and house so much!

Better than Home and Garden. Those homes are pretty, but there is really no place to put your coffee down while you read a book.

Is your house made of rock? I totally love rock houses. We stayed once in a place in Oklahoma almost in Arkansas and there were these "cozy cabins" made out of rock. Never in my life had I slept so good as in that place. I loved the quiet.
Have a wonderful vacation.
