Your project looks really good. We saw on the news that Hwy. 7 has some problems south of Jasper, and that road was something to negotiate before it started slip-slidin' away!
Wow, you found olde friends and NEW in your water garden. How Kool is that. I think the turtle find is special and it looks beautiful Gail, with the reflection of trees n sky. Nice Job!!
I once had a small pond and fountain here but unable to keep the watersnakes and raccoons out of it.Since it was near the chickenyard I was afraid it would draw the raccoons near the chickens.

Before I began

You can read the story about the beginning of this water garden here. It has quite a history. After trimming all the unwanted and beginning another pile, I had to empty the garden to clean it. It has been awile since I have had the time to attend to this properly.

I found some old friends

and a new one.

The turtle was not happy.

Empty of all things, clean

and refill. All rocks replaced. Pickerel and Parrot Grass planted. It will be crystal clear tomorrow.

Off to find more rocks.
I love jobs like this!

Love your turtle friend! We had a cute pond in SC, but I never found any turtles in it.
