Hi Gail, It's always great and therapeutic to let your mind sort of "work out" and looking at the result, I think you did a great job. Lovely colors! Hope you're having a great day! Hugs x
I think it's wonderful that you paint instinstively and purely from your emotions. I think that gives the best and most interesting results. The proof is in the pudding. And see! There it is.
[Image]I'm not sure what they representbut I am lighter when I finish.[Image]Just a part of the whole,or does it represent a hole in the part?[Image]I'm not a pink lover but tonight, pink came out.I let the colors choose me,I allow the paint to pick the time.[Image]I don't think.I paint...and that action, not the result, relaxes me.
I'm not sure why my last three have been abstracts...but here is the third in as many weeks.Painting is cheaper than therapyand you can always paint over the uglies.

Boy, you are really good with color. Your work is wonderful and evocative. I would put this up in my house in a minute; that's how much I like it.

I want to paint, too! I have no idea where to start.
I like that you let it come from within... maybe that's where I should begin!

I like your paintings and I am glad it relaxes you. I think walking is my kind of therapy, or just spending time with my bunnies or the ponies.
