I wrote something to go with the picture and then backed off. I began reading things others had written and realized I was WAY over my sometimes "big" head. I am NOT a writer and certainly not a poet. :( Love to write..but poetry leaves me with my face hanging out. I was married to both and like to think I learned something. But...naw...I didn't.
You did great on this. LOVED it. NO nerve to post mine. lol Hugs, Mona
Oh, my impatient bones have caused me trouble. The Mag is up. Join in the fun there and here too.

The battle of the caffeines
Was a scary tale
Coffee or soda
Who wins?
Hard to tell.
The condiments were talking
About the view
No one needed seasoning
Enough spice here
For me and you.
The hands explored the moment
From top to almost tail
There was no spot
Left untouched
In this meeting
Of the pales.
The end remains yours
To decide
The moment
Hangs in time
Forever
On the canvas
Forever
On the mind.

You have a new header, I like it. I also like your poem and how you concentrated on every detail of the art.

I like how you zeroed in on the details. That was not an obvious thing to do. Are you taking lessons? xox

Oh yes, all that heavy exploring spiced up a few lines as they huddled together! Lovely poem of sweet love!

Interesting dissection of the painting.

Love how you included attention to so many details. I did notice that coffee cup - I kept wanting to push it further back up on the table!

I love the way you both dissected and connected this one in an excellent composition of photo focus and verse. Very well done Miss Gail! :-)

A neat concept, to divide the painting and to construct tiny chapters. This works well.
