We're still at a 9" deficit for the year but at least the cooler temps are here. Our peppers are still producing but that's it in the garden. Except for the flowers. They're still pretty.
It is so dry everywhere! We had fires start all over our area on Friday evening from lightning strikes! One is in our valley! It has been a weekend of worry!
We're expecting rain on Wednesday after a week or so without. We don't really need the rain, but it will be pleasant anyway. I hope you get your rain soon. It will be good for your pastures, no doubt.

We are fast becoming dry too. I fear what winter might hold if we don't get some moisture now. Let's cross our fingers for each other. :)

I think we've had enough rain for now, but I know Texas could still use some.

You were expecting rain in October? I am thinking we will get snow first. Cute little caterpillar.

We could use moisture, too. We don't even get the dew most mornings. But... I dare not complain - this is the most beautiful fall I have ever seen.
