Hello,

Just discovered your blog yesterday, and since you had many blogs on cattle of course my interest was piqued.

Sad story about Nars. Why do we always "pave paradise, put up a parking lot" so to speak?

Such a sad tale. I won't get started on my opinions on 'responsible adults' because it's not very nice. I can't even imagine having to experience finding a child like that.

We used to visit a place like that when we were kids and it got taken over by the 'townies' from the big city. Fortunately no one drowned but it was seriously trashed and the owners of the land completely banned all use. So sad. I don't blame the owners, though, they had to take care of the situation the only way they were able.

Hope you and yours had a great Christmas.

Such a sad story, Gail. What a shame that happened. I wonder if that poor little girl's soul haunts that beautiful place?

That's awfully sad. I'm sorry that Den had to go through that and sorry for the girl for not having had responsible adults with her. What a terrible waste of a young life. Poor Den had to find her and deal with that, sadly enough. I bet you never do forget. XOX to him too.

So sad that there are so many idiots in the world who would cance to put their alcohol craving above the safety of their children.
I can only imagine the horrors your hubbie went through after that. I saw a drowned man pulled from the water once when I was at a near by lake and that image stuck in my mind for months.
By the way I love the new look of your blog.
Blessings

So sad for so many reasons...the loss for all...the drunks, a daughter; the daughter, her life; you, the wonderful memories of a wonderful place...so sad...

So very sad, and such a needless loss. I'm sorry for your husband, too, as he has to live with this horror and the anger it must stir that other people can be so careless with their children.
