Blimey! You've been busy!! I like the abstract one and the rooster in the cage best. Keep going... art is very therapuetic isn't it? Hope you and your hubby are feeling better! S
I love the rooster and the chickens. I'm real anxious to see what the first one becomes. Your paintings and such, always interest me :)
I don't have beer, I have Calgon, it does take me away from time to time, but unfortunately, it always brings me back ;) whether I wanna come back or not :P
So, I can give you my calgon or offer you a virtual hug :)
well, they've already said it...art is therapuetic...releasing stress? I don't know. Out of beer? Now that is stressful. I like your art work...I like to think of you picking up something that makes color and working on the cardboard and letting us see it. Pleasureable all around. And I really like chickens...if I had roosters I'd be drawing them, too.
Your much better than you implied you were. You've been hiding your light under a bushel. Keep doing this, you've got talent!

[Image] A work in progress, paint on paper, do not know yet what it will be or rather what it is trying to be. [Image] Rooster print on cardboard covered with turkey wrap to look like a wire cage and laced with pipe cleaners.
[Image] My poor attempt at a rooster...in my world they can be any color I want. This is colored pencils, chalk, charcoal, acrylic, ink and cardboard.
[Image] What is the hell is this? Acrylic on a cardboard box.
[Image]My old project, also on cardboard, covered with netting. Acrylics, pen, ink and decoupage babies.

You can not call this art but it is therapy. I forget all about my tooth extractions, my hubby's shoulder and even to take a drink. I have no Calgon, so this must take me away.

Please, don't be too critical, I am weak and vulnerable now and could not stand the upset. And, I don't have any beer!!!!

LOL I don't have any beer!
I LOVE your rooster! And the chicken wire net is great on the others, nicely thought out.
I am so glad you got to relax and be away from it all for a few.
Hope this week is better. Keep on painting. :D
And? I have no beer! bwahahaha...I swear that is going to make me laugh for weeks to come. Thank you.

I vote for the rooster in turkey wrap! You're very clever in your choice of materials.
Keep it up! (And the walking advice was good, too.)
