almost finished with my efforts to "get ready to meet the spring". Love this nesting time of year. Your words speak to that very natural effort to do so....brrrrrr
Awaiting Spring...such a nice thought in the midst of winter. It is great for us to not have to tend to flowers for just a bit. But we are always ready to start again as soon as the last snow melts, right?
Lovely view, beautiful words, and I like your added photos for your blog header, it looks more like you! I don't think you had them all last time I visited your new and revised look, but whatever, it's so you! No more confusion for anyone.

Nicely done. I feel like it's a good companion somehow to the one I posted today.

Lovely lyrical mimesis of a leaf's slow sure fall.

Colors change for the seasons like changing of the guard. I like your swirling leaves. You did well, Gail.

So much truth and beauty in your poem. I'm always ready for the winter rest from the growing season. It's the time to look through the garden catalog.

While looking forward to change in winter one is outwardly fair to bid farewell to Autumn! Great lines Gail!

It's not going to matter what I say, but NO to shades of white.

A deep statement of the sleep and awakening of the seasons--thank you.
Tomorrow here in San Diego, the temp. is supposed to be 90 degrees. I hope the weather guy is lying.
