Jumpins Gail, we got a hail, torrential downpour and high wind yesterday that I would love to share water on that creek. Hope this is not the start of a dry season. Calais, Maine forcasted 1 inch hail - it came in a flurry and stopped just as quick 22 minutes later - WILD. No real damage here, but killed my tulips - everything else is peeking outta the ground, so there was no damage - few dented cars round town.
We're getting rain this weekend, and even though things are pretty green, I think the plants and grass could use a nice sprinkling.
Too bad the US couldn't be like Ireland, where it rains a little bit every day, then clears up nicely! That's why they have 40 shades of green there! ;)
That;s how it looks here most of the time. We got five minutes of sprinkles one day this week... just enough to turn my very dusty car into a mudmobile. Today is supposed to reach 100 again, no rain in sight. Gonna be a long, hot summer I'm afraid.
